Hi I want to make a rug like this. I dont really unestdrand your directions though. Thank you, Natasha! I love how it turned out. Right now, we just have the cushion sitting on top, and it moves around a bit. It is so heavy, because of the mdf bottom, that it doesn’t move much, just enough to drive us crazy. My husband plans to drill holes in the top of the bench, and attach small dowels to the cushion (the mdf that is at the bottom of the bench top) and slip the dowels into the drilled holes. I think it is a good design and will work wonderfully. We were in a big rush to reveal the playroom on Christmas morning, so we didn’t get to that. I just love watching Noah-he’s such an amazing little baby. I know he has Down Syndrome, but like you will fall in love with his laugh. You take one look at him & you fall in love. Watching this video & others he is a very determined baby. I think he will exceed his limitations-he seems to be very determined to do that. He is so very lucky to have you & your wife as his parents. Your love for him shows in everything that you do & everything that he does. I am so glad that you are sharing his story with me-with us. I am learning more & more about Down Syndrome thru you & Noah. I worked in the medical field for over 10 years & I’ve learned more about this terrible disease thru you all in the short time that I’ve know you. Thanks for the questions! Candi- My husband has the plans, I think he has to make a couple of quick changes to them (things he ended up doing differently as he made them.) and then I will post them. I’ll see if he can fix them, and I will post them tonight:)Dawn- I got the foam pads a couple of days before Christmas. I don’t know that they would be online, you may have to go in. I hope they still have them! If not, I would check an outdoorsy or camping store. Mine were 3″ pads, and I think that is perfect. Foam is CRAZY expensive at the craft stores! Sure, pay for the visit out of pocket, ientsad of using insurance. The policyholder (your father) will get an explanation of benefits, showing the doctor charge. If you're NOT a dependent of your father, you should have your OWN coverage. As long as he's covering you and both of you are agreeing that you are his dependent (otherwise, you wouldn't be using HIS insurance!), he's entitled to this info. |
